Frode Odegard is the founder and CEO of the Lean Software Institute, a global management consulting firm helping organizations in the IT sector adopt Lean Management.  He has more than twenty years of experience as an entrepreneur and trusted advisor to high-tech executives. Organizations he has helped include Sony Electronics Inc., NASA, Lockheed Martin, Candle, Conexant Systems, Mindspeed, and Plantronics. Frode is currently writing a book on Lean for the Software Enterprise.

Frode is the founder of five companies. He grew up in Norway, but immigrated to the United States shortly after starting his first software company in high school. He has lived in California for twenty years, but spends about half his time overseas.   His interests outside work include languages, history, philosophy, psychology, and strength training.  Frode is an avid GTD practitioner and advocate, and helped organize the world's first GTD in Oslo in September 2009. He remains active on Twitter as @odegard.

Eivind Sundbø is Director of Lean at EDB Ergo Group, the largest IT services firm in Norway and one of the largest in Europe. He has a broad experience within the IT sector, having served in leadership roles spanning operations, application development, and consulting at Hydro IS Partner and ErgoGroup.  He has been part of the ErgoGroup management team since 2005.

Lars Ihler is the CEO of Smallworld Systems.  He has 25 years of experience in software engineering and sales of solutions to the utilities and telecom business in Scandinavia. His career includes working for Alcatel, Landis & Gyr and Metso Automation. He joined Smallworld Systems in 2003 and was appointed CEO in 2009. During the last 12 months he has been working with LSI to implement Lean in the Smallworld Systems organization.

Founded in 1994 Smallworld Systems is a successful vendor and developer of Network Information Systems to the Scandinavian utility and telecom industries. The offerings are based on the GE Smallworld Core Spatial Technology. As Smallworld Systems grew their business and organization in these increasingly competitive markets, the management team realized there was a need to focus on organizational learning. The Lean methodology has enabled the company and their employees to systematically approach all issues and problems that may arise.
